Black November at Brutech: how The Black Rift works

By Brutech3 min read

Brutech's Black November sale is called The Black Rift, and it does not hit all at once. Five gates open one at a time, at 00:00 South African time, and the deals from earlier gates stay available while their offers run and stock lasts. The first gate opened on 3 November and the last one, The Final Raid, opens on 27 November.

If you are planning to buy a PC this month, that structure is the useful part. You do not need to refresh a page at midnight. Here is how it fits together.

When each gate opens

All times are South African time.

Gate Name Opens On special
I The Outpost Tuesday 3 November Gaming Prebuilts, Common to Epic
II The Void Market Tuesday 10 November To be announced
III The Ghost Citadel Tuesday 17 November To be announced
IV The Artisans' Forge Tuesday 24 November To be announced
V The Final Raid Friday 27 November To be announced

You can follow the live state of each gate, and the deals inside it, on the Black Rift hub.

What is in the first gate

Gate I is The Outpost, and at the time of writing it holds Gaming Prebuilts from the Common, Uncommon, Rare and Epic tiers. Our Gaming Prebuilts use eleven rarity tiers, from Common through to Mythical, and the Black Rift is built to carry every Gaming Prebuilt we have on offer.

At the time of writing, each Gate I build is R2,000 off, which works out to 5% or 6% depending on the price of the machine. Each product page shows the current price and the previous price, so the saving you see is the one you pay at checkout.

Each later gate lists its range in the table above, and the hub shows the exact deals as each one opens.

The Final Raid and the LORGAR Armoury

On Friday 27 November, Gate V opens and the biggest Black Friday wave begins. It brings a dedicated LORGAR Armoury for gaming peripherals and accessories available in the event. The Armoury is sealed until then.

How to plan your purchase

Three questions are worth answering before you pick a build.

What do you play, and at what resolution? A machine that suits 1080p esports is not the machine you want for 4K single-player games. If you are unsure, our team can help you work it out before you commit.

Do you need it now? Earlier gates stay open while their offers run, so a machine you like in Gate I does not vanish when Gate II opens. Offers still end on their advertised dates and stock is limited, so decide with that in mind and do not leave it to the last day.

How will you pay? Brutech offers monthly payments through FeverTree Finance, subject to credit approval. We explain how it works in our financing guide.

What stays the same

The sale changes the price, not the build. Every Brutech PC is assembled by hand and comes with a warranty: three years on Gaming and Office PCs, five years on Creator and Threadripper workstations. Your warranty and support carry on long after the last gate closes.

Frequently asked questions

Are the discounts real?

Yes. A deal appears on the hub only when the normal price in our shop is higher than today's price, and the product page shows both.

Do I lose a deal when the next gate opens?

No. Earlier gates stay open while their offers run and stock lasts.

When does the Black Rift end?

The Black Rift is closing the 01 December 2026 10:00
